Description
The 2Voices plugin has various quality settings, when set to ‘medium’ the CPU usage goes to 100% with dropouts galore, going to ‘high’ the next better quality setting actually decreases CPU to 92-96%. It would be nice to have increased CPU headroom from the medium setting to help with larger pedalboards.
How to reproduce
Create a pedalboard with ‘2Voices’ plugin, select ‘medium’ as a quality preset and observe CPU usage, then try the next better setting (not with my MOD right now, I think it is called ‘high’) and CPU usage will likely decrease.
Expected/suggested solution
I would expect ‘medium’ to use less CPU and provide more overhead. I would add in general all of the pitchshifting plugins are too CPU hungry for practical use with pedalboards with 4-8 other basic effects, I know it’s complicated math but it is very limiting on the current MOD hardware unfortunately.
