Bugs that have been reported and already resolved must be moved to the Resolved category.
It probably should be named as “Solved” instead of “Resolved”.
When dealing with bugs/issues the common practice is to call it “resolved”.
Sounds right reading the definition found elsewhere: http://english.stackexchange.com/a/14325
I don’t know, I see more sense in the “emotional vs logical” explanation: http://www.englishlessonsbrighton.co.uk/whats-the-difference-between-solve-and-resolve/
When somebody raises a new issue which is really not an issue (happens a lot) then you can’t really say it’s solved, as you haven’t really found a solution to the problem you only reported back it’s a non-issue.
I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree, maybe others can give their opinion to untie this dispute?
