It would be useful if there would me an option to duplicate a given effect in it’s current state except for the connections. It would make experimenting easier without pollution of the preset, snapshot and pedalboard memory.

Would like that, too. The functionality could be assigned to CTRL+C and CTRL+V which are not used, IIRC.
Shortcuts are nice for fast working. But there should be always a button for each functionality as well.
not to hijack this thread, but just pointing to a related discussion about various things which could significantly improve editing ease in the GUI:
…as we get into more powerful devices like the Duo X and the Dwarf, pedalboard editing is getting cumbersome.
