I would like creat a midi plugin, who accept external midi clock and take modduo tempo control ( like ableton link, but without ableton, just with external midi clock)
Is it possible ? make propositions

Hi! Just to clarify: You want the mod HOST tempo and playback status to be controlled from an external MIDI clock?
There are two different portions of the MIDI standard concerned with time/tempo: MIDI timecode [1] and MIDI beat clock [2]. I guess you are more interested in the second one?

Sadly I’m not familiar with Ableton link. So if you want to control the mod’s HOST tempo and playback status it depends on whether this is exposed via an API, which I’m not aware of. If it is, then this should be possible…

I’m interested by second, just midi tempo clock.
Because, I need to keep Usb cable connect to my personnal computer (to work with my band and change modduo pedals settings), but the midi tempo clock send by another computer ( keyboarder of my band), with midi cable !
can you help me create that plugin?
Hi again, I’m not sure that this can be done by a plugin since I do not know whether a plugin can control the host’s playback/tempo state. Maybe someone from the MOD team can chime in? If there’s an API for that I might try my hands on it…
