MDX Kernel version

There is no hurry, but I am interested!
In one of the next releases, will the kernel version of the MODX be like the Duo and Dwarf?

It is complicated… When Duo started up, only 3.4 worked for it, so we went with that one. When nand mainline support became a thing, we updated to that ASAP, which was 5.4. Duo X has 4.4 because it is the official/vendor supported kernel for it by rockchip, and we needed to get the unit booting and working ASAP too. Duo X has substantial changes this time around. Updating its kernel too would lead to a situation where any new bugs would be hard to attribute to the new feature or the update in kernel.
When doing such core substantial changes, it is best to do it one step at a time.

Duo X kernel update will be done later, no direct plans yet.
We really want to do it though, as it is a requirement for improving the resolution of the hardware CV ports.
