Since we are converting the audio signal to digital, can I use MOD Duo as a digital audio interface to record audio in the computer using the USB cable?

Using the USB cable? no, at least not at this point.
Having the MOD Duo acting as an usb audio interface was one of the kickstarter stretch goals that were not reached.
Might still happen in the future though, but right now it’s far from a priority.
