Mod Duo, some missing information

Hi everyone,
I’m doing a presentation in college next week and it’s about new trends in embedded systems and we chose to talk about the Mod Duo. We’re supposed to tell everyone about its characteristics (fisical and functional). We’ve found a lot of information in the Duo wiki and kickstarter page, but we couldn’t find the following:

-Weight
-Power usage
-Any information regarding the developement timeline before 2013 (when did this whole idea start?)

Could anyone help us?

  • Weight: the box we are shipping has 1.7kg, it contains 1 MOD Duo, 1 power adapter, 1 USB cable and some stickers.
  • power consumption: 24W
