When I want to purchase a plugin, it’s required to enter an address. In my case you already have my address because I ordered my hardware directly in your shop so it makes not big difference.
But from a privacy/data protection perspective, this data is not relevant for virtual goods. Maybe there are some customers who need an invoice for accounting purposes. But this should be entirely optional.
