Problems with CabinetIV after upgrade to release 1.0.1

Description

After upgrading to release 1.0.1 the speaker simulation “CabinetIV” seems to have just a fixed setting, changing parameters (speaker model or gain) doesn’t affect sound.

How to reproduce

  1. Set up a simple chain “GxAmplifier → CabinetIV” and change parameters of CabinetIV
  2. Removing and re-installing CabinetIV at the plugin store doesn’t solve the problem

Expected/suggested solution

With release 1.0.0 it worked fine.

I got the gain x2 to behave in a similar way one time, very strange…

Can you try re-installing 1.0.1 again please?
Boot the mod into restore mode (by holding the left knob and footswitch down while powering up the mod), and do the update procedure the old way (copying modduo.tar).

I’ll see if I can reproduce this.

I re-installed 1.0.1 an now it works, strange…

@120dBRockNRoll can you please tell us what your upgrade path was (approximately at least)?

Example: 0.9 -> 0.11 -> 0.15 -> 1.0.0 -> 1.0.1 …

Sure… I started with 0.15 and installed every release up to today’s version 1.0.1

The CabinetIV plugin was one of the first I used, so it has been installed since 0.15.
