Hi All. Here’s a few bug fixes based on the feedback you provided on top of RC1.

If you have RC1 installed, please upgrade to RC2. Those who are beta testers will get this upgrade in their mod-ui notification panel.

Release 1.6.0-RC1

Hi everyone, a major release is finally here - v1.6.0-RC aka “the return of the living dead”. This release’s main focus is around the introduction of our commercial plugin store! On top of that a few small additions will help alleviate some problems that we’ve been discussing around here. Don’t forget this is a release candidate so please handle it with care. We expect a testing period of just a few weeks. Here are the goods: Plugin Store: At last we’re putting our mouth where the money…

Changelog:

• Share Pedalboard button should not be hidden by ad-blockers
• Improved Plugin Store behavior when MOD is “offline” (no internet access)
• The checkout page now opens in a new tab (to avoid pop-up annoyances)

Known Issues:

• After buying a plugin you might still not see the UI refreshing accordingly. All goes well if you F5 the screen. We’re working to make this more polished.
• Trying to edit/save your default pedalboard could result in some failure messages. Fortunately it all goes well after the messages, it’s just an annoyance more than anything. The behavior overall is ok. We’re also narrowing down this one. A few fixes have been made towards fixing this but not quite there yet.

I installed RC2, clicked around a few views, and played with the “Blues Clues” shared pedalboard. I’ll do some more focused testing as the week goes on.

There are a few more known issues that we’ve seen, specially in the Plugin Store. We’re preparing RC3 very soon.
