Request: Expand Mod dwarf tuner pitch to C5 was: Mod dwarf tuner

Maybe I’m using it wrong, but the Dwarf tuner seems to not be very good at recognising any pitches much above C3. Have occasionally got it to register up to C5, but nothing higher then that on my instrument (harp). This is just a limitation of the tuner?

I’ve taken to putting an external tuner into the signal chain, although that somewhat defeats the point of having one on the dwarf itself. But it least I can actually tune the instrument then.

Maybe it’s just my instrument and other people have more luck.

I’ve used the tuner but with very limited success.

I have an analog sequencer that you have to manually tune, but I generally just use the dwarf tuner for an approximation and then finish the rest by ear

Thank you – that’s useful to know! I thought it was just me.

I’m sure with more refinement, they can get the tuner dialed in.

Bummer it’s not ready for prime time in your set up though

I remember this being a massive problem on my Helix, it got sorted in the end but got very nasty in the forum including some getting banned from using the tuner unless you apologised to Line 6!

Very bizarre.

Im sure with later firmware updates it will settle down

The tuner is not really design with the harp in mind and that might boost some issues.
I’m putting it in our requests list so we take a look on it.
