I see a lot of pedalboards with the stereo crossover pedal used in a funky way - 3 lines from line 1 go into 3 of the 4 inputs and then 1 input from line 2 goes into the final input.
What is the point of this? It seems odd yet very commonly done.

It manages the mono or stereo input : if you plug a stereo keyboard in 1 and 2 or a mono keyboard on the 1 only, you have the same output of the crossover pedal.

@jesse has invented this arrangent. Works super well for managing stereo/mono and wet/dry mixes.
