Hey, guys, my MOD Duo has just arrived and I’m having pretty much fun with it!
Today I upgraded the firmware, everything went fine but when I looked to the plugins store
and tried to upgrade some of them (started with the FluidBass) I can’t do it, a message appears saying
“Could not install plugin: Unauthorized”, any thoughts about it?
Rafael, can you please confirm you’ve upgrade to version v0.15.0 ? Please check the system version directly in the MOD (hold left knob then navigate through the menu).
Please try a force reinstall of v0.15.0 again (on top of it)… there’s a fix in 0.15 which fixes corrupted deployments but it affects subsequent installations only.
To force a reinstall hold the left knob and footswitch down while you power on the MOD, then proceed with a regular upgrade process using v0.15.0 image file again.
@Rafael_Moreno I found a fix to the problem in the meantime.
Steps for you to fix it:
1 - Open your browser (same one you use to open the mod UI)
2 - Open this url => https://api.moddevices.com/v2/lv2/stats
3 - Hit CTRL+R
4 - Open MOD Duo UI and try installing/upgrading any plugin
I just got a mod. When I started it up and connected to the Mod with a browser the browser-UI wanted to install 1.0.6. This seems to have worked, though I could not figure out how to determine what version of the firmware is installed on the Mod itself or on the web-UI. Well. the URL on the web-UI somehow became “http://192.168.51.1/?v=1.0.6” so I guess that means 1.0.6 is installed.
Ok, in the web-UI I tried to update some plugins but got the “Could not install plugin: Unauthorized” error. I tried the above suggestion “Open this url => https://api.moddevices.com/v2/lv2/stats” but it did not solve the problem. I’ve tried different browsers (Chrome, Chromium, Firefox), different OSes (kxstudio, AVL2016), cycling Mod power, did not help. Any other suggestions?
