Windows driver

Hi guys!

I have finally got the unit, thanks!
So, I plug it in by windows 7 laptop - and see that Duo Ethernet device don’t have a driver.
Not very long way

  1. So what do I do next?

And second question,is there any plain explanation, what does the unit do? :))
I was expecting for some reason that it will be a device that can be controlled either from PCvia USB or from an iPad via bluetooth and both in offline mode.
As I can see now, there’s no bluetooth (ok, it will be a complicated story, I understand) and to use it an internet connection is needed (so I can’t play somewhere on openair without inet).
So second question is
2. Where can I find these aspects explained? Thanks.

  1. Windows does sometimes install the correct driver, but not always (still no idea why…).

We have a page in our wiki for this kind of Troubleshooting:
http://wiki.moddevices.com/wiki/Troubleshooting

Basically you need to look for a driver manually. That page has more details.
Let us know if it’s not clear enough.
Recommendations for edit are very welcome.

And btw, the next update will provide bluetooth support.
You’ll need a bluetooth dongle connected on the back of the MOD (supporting at least bluetooth 3.0).
We’ll have more details soon.

Thanks, I managed to plug it and play (literally!)
It’s great, no more questions regarding the thread, I found the hold-knob menus and am excited like a kid _

thanks!
