Microcontrollers are fascinating beasts but of all the interesting things to pursue in the limited time of our lives, they did not make it to the top of my list. Improving my Python skills is though and that’s why there is a realistic chance I will make time to tinker with your code. And that in turn is why I was so happy about the well-formatedness of your output. 
I will certainly get back to this thread with questions or results!
