LowPassFilter - MOD Devices

MOD Team

A simple low pass filter, "Freq" determines its cutoff frequency and "Order" the filter order (or how fast frequencies below the cutoff frequency will decay. Higher the order, faster the decay).

This is a companion discussion topic for the original entry at https://pedalboards.moddevices.com/plugins/aHR0cDovL21vZGRldmljZXMuY29tL3BsdWdpbnMvbW9kLWRldmVsL0xvd1Bhc3NGaWx0ZXI=

Great for cutting down the high end hiss of a board.
See http://www.independentrecording.net/irn/resources/freqchart/main_display.htm
to see the highest frequency your inputs can do.

Many cab sims cut off everything over a certain frequency too. But if you are going direct to a PA or recording direct then low pass filters can just mellow out some harsh stuff that you don’t want.
