Thus far pinging/ssh isnā€™t able to resolve 192.168.51.1.

Yes, assuming you have the usb cable connected, the network interface appears at 192.168.51.1.

Since that is not working for you Iā€™ll prepare a full reset image.
Iā€™ll PM you soon (either later today or tomorrow).

btw, do you have a linux system around? It will make things a lot simplerā€¦

Iā€™m on a mac. I could look at setting up a virtual machine if needed.
